Levels are required to purchase specific seeds, craft custom items, & level up your skill archive tree.
So, how do you earn experience? By farming! Yes, it's true – farming various seeds and crops in a growstation can increase both your farming level and your growstation's capabilities. You'll find every plant listed in the /farm codex. Hover over a crop within the codex, and it will indicate the amount of experience you can gain from growing it.
