Machines
Macerator
Grinds up certain products.
For example: Cobblestone -> Sand Granite -> Gravel Gravel -> Flint Bones -> Bone Meal Wool -> String
NOTE: Some LiteXpansion items have to be crafted in an enhanced crafting table. No other crafting table will work for those specific items.
Machines
These machines can not be automated. The fueling process can be semi-automated.
Refined Smeltery - Makes LiteXpansion materials. You can not use an automatic ignition chamber, but instead have to light a fire under it. The fire will last for only one item each time.
Of course, you can use an observer, a dispenser filled with flint and steel, and some redstone dust to semi-automate the lighting of the fire, as shown.
If you want to go longer between fueling, you can put a chest and hopper full of flint and steel feeding into the dispenser.
Metal Forge - Processes LiteXpansion materials into next level materials and final products.
NOTICE: It uses up the diamond block and requires another diamond block for every step in every process. It uses a LOT of diamonds to get anywhere.
You can semi-automate the process of placing diamond blocks underneath with an observer, a block placer with diamond blocks, and some redstone dust, as shown.
When you semi-automate, you have to place the first diamond block down manually underneath to start the process.
Manual Mill - Processes LiteXpansion materials into next level materials and final products.
NOTICE: It uses up the iron block and requires another iron block for every step in every process. It uses a LOT of iron to get anywhere.
You can semi-automate the process of placing iron blocks underneath with an observer, a block placer with iron blocks, and some redstone dust, as shown.
When you semi-automate, you have to place the first iron block down manually underneath to start the process.
Alternate Setup for Metal Forge and Manual Mill - You may have noticed they are the same machine, with the only difference being the iron block or diamond block you place as fuel. So you can make just one machine and simply switch out the diamond and iron blocks in the block placer as needed. You will have to manually break the block previously auto-placed every time you switch.
Converter - (This machine can be automated) Converts SF gold and copper ingots to the vanilla equivalent. Also converts the vanilla gold and copper ingots to the SF equivalent. Be careful, it converts any level of SF gold into one vanilla gold ingot. So, don’t hook it up to a 24-carat source, stick with 4-carat sources.
