Miscellaneous skills are skills that don’t quite fit in in the other categories, but still pack a punch in effectiveness and fun!
This skill levels up as you use an mcmmo anvil to repair your items. At lower levels you can only repair up to iron gear, but as you get higher up you can repair diamond gear and eventually enchanted gear! Bonuses include using much less resources to repair items and the ability to repair enchanted gear without losing enchants. (To use this skill, right click an iron block with the item you want to repair while having the material it's made out of in your inventory. So to repair an iron shovel, I would keep iron ingots in my inventory and then right click the iron block while holding the shovel.)
This skill is a child skill, it only levels up as it’s parents skill level up. It’s level is the average of its parent’s skills levels. Salvage’s parent skills are Repair and Fishing. So if Repair was 300 and Fishing was 600, you’d add those up and divide by 2. 300+600/2=450, you now know your Salvage level. Bonuses include being able to obtain enchanted books when salvaging enchanted gear and being able to salvage damaged gear.
This skill is a child skill, it only levels up as it’s parents skill level up. It’s level is the average of its parent’s skills levels. Smelting’s parent skills are Repair and Mining. So if Repair was 300 and Mining was 600, you’d add those up and divide by 2. 300+600/2=450, you now know your Smelting level. Bonuses include being able to smelt a pickaxe at full durability for “flux pickaxe” which has a chance to smelt ores when you break them, fuel efficiency meaning your coal will last longer, and a chance to smelt two items from one item.
Alchemy levels up as you brew potions. Levelling up alchemy gives you access to new potions you can make! This includes, but not limited to, potion of absorption, which gives you extra hearts, potion of haste, which allows you to mine faster and potion of health boost which gives you refillable extra hearts!

Child/Parent Skills
Parent skills will level as normal, however half of their level also levels up a child skill. Child skills have no other way of levelling up other than the average of both of it’s parent skills.
